Student voice

Student voice is an important part of life at HNC – our students are at the heart of everything we do, and ensuring that your voice is heard helps us to ensure we’re always improving our offer. Our Student Council team, lead by our Head Students, leads our student voice. Applications for our Student Leadership team open every April, and everyone has the opportunity to apply. The Student Council work with the College’s Senior Leadership Team to feedback to them any ideas or concerns the wider student body may have – and this has impacted areas such as food, events and transport.
Learning Support Centre

The Learning Support Centre (known as the LSC) is our hub for study support. A quiet learning area, the LSC can be used for independent or group study and is kitted out with PCs. The LSC is also the hub for additional learning needs and access arrangements – and we encourage all applicants to let us know ahead of joining us if there is any additional support required. You can do this via the ‘getting to know you’ survey.
Our Learning Support Mentors (LSMs) are on hand to support you with areas such as revision and study techniques, and can be found in the College’s study hubs which are situated across the campus.
